BVIS collects information that visitors choose to provide for event registration, membership, volunteering, scholarships, sponsorship inquiries, contact requests and related community activities.
How Information Is Used
Submitted information is used to administer the requested BVIS activity, communicate with participants, manage event capacity and payments where applicable, and maintain appropriate organizational records. BVIS does not use the website to sell personal information.
Event Registration & Payment
Registration records may include names, email, phone, party or team information and event-specific notes. When an event uses an external payment provider, payment-card details are entered with that provider and are not stored by BVIS WordPress. BVIS may retain transaction references and payment status needed to reconcile registrations.
Verification & Spam Protection
BVIS forms may use email or SMS verification, CAPTCHA, rate limiting and related security controls. CAPTCHA or payment providers may process technical information according to their own privacy terms.
Information About Minors
Youth forms request parent or guardian contact information where appropriate. BVIS aims to collect only the information needed to coordinate the relevant youth activity.
Retention & Access
Access to registration and inquiry records is limited to authorized BVIS administrators and volunteers with an operational need. BVIS periodically reviews records and exports so information is not retained longer than needed for organizational, financial or legal purposes.
Your Choices
To ask about information submitted through the BVIS website, request a correction, or raise a privacy concern, contact ec@bvis.org.
