A visible place in local civic life
The Town of Grafton calendar identified the program as a Blackstone Valley India Society flag raising at 30 Providence Road. The public setting matters: it places Indian-American heritage within the shared civic space of the town.
A partnership with continuity
A 2025 Grafton Select Board packet from the India Association of Greater Boston described BVIS as its strongest local ally in supporting and coordinating the annual India and U.S. flag-raising tradition in Grafton. That record provides useful context for BVIS’s continuing role in the ceremony.
